Courtney Broussard



Courtney B. Walker is an associate with the firm of Strawinski & Stout, P.C.  Prior to joining the firm, she spent two years as a Staff Attorney with the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.  As a Staff Attorney, she worked and advised on a variety of appeals, with a focus on those in the areas of employment discrimination, federal civil rights, immigration, habeas corpus, and general criminal law.

Courtney earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude.  She studied international and comparative law through UGA’s Oxford Program at St. Anne’s College, Oxford University.  She also served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Law, and authored a publication in that Journal on the human rights implications of British financial requirements on family migration, which was selected as the Journal’s “Best Note” in 2014.

Courtney received undergraduate degrees in history and political science from Louisiana State University.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was a University Medalist, LSU’s highest academic achievement for undergraduate students.
